started page about the Daily Digest Plugin

New page

= Introduction =

The [[Manual Digest Plugin]] lets you kick off Geeklog's [[Daily Digest]] (a digest email containing all the stories published on the site on the given day) manually. This is useful if you can not run cronjobs on your site or in case you don't want to send out the digest on a regular schedule.

Since occasionally some of the digest emails will come back ("bounce") due to email addresses that stopped working, the [[Manual Digest Plugin]] plugin also lets you disable subscriptions for users.
